I’m Máté, tour guide and founder of VanAround Tours.
I always liked to dedicate my freetime to explore unique sights of the surrounding area that we call the region of Balaton and Bakony. By now, my aim has become to show these wonders to my Guests by vanning around.

Balaton Half-Circle Tour
It’s time to explore three of the most picturesque cities of Lake Balaton! After a sightseeing in Balatonfüred and Tihany, we cross the lake by a ferry to visit the Southern side of Balaton and take a walk in its most important city, Siófok. The tour ends with watching the sunset from the highlands of Balatonakarattya.

Tour of the Abbeys

The Northern side of Balaton is the home of many historic forts and castles, among which the ones in Szigliget and Keszthely are listed in our itinerary. On our tour in between the castles, we check some lookout towers that provide an unforgettable view to the lake and its surroundings.
